In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was made a hepatospecific metabolic profile of cattle blood serum for complex appraisal of liver functional condition. Age-specific peculiarities of biochemical indices including the composition of hepatospecific metabolic profile of cattle blood serum were revealed. On the basis of obtained results there were calculated the appropriate correction coefficients which must be taken into consideration in objective interpretation of laboratory research.

Investigation of frequency of occurrence and manifestations of liver pathology of swine during the postmortem examination at meat packing plant of the Republic of Belarus was realized. Data analysis of reports of postmortem veterinary-sanitary examination gathered from two leasing national meat packing plants showed that out of 236187 of evaluated swine carcasses and organs in 40860 (17,3%) of cases there were registered different liver pathologies. Among the total number of liver pathologies in 5721 cases (14%) there were stated liver pathologies caused by invasive diseases (echinococcus disease (Echinococcus granulosus) – 1,5%; cysticercosis – 0,2%; migration traces of ascarid larva - 12,3%), and 31830 cases (86%) were caused by noncontagious diseases. The highest percentage among noncontagious liver diseases was stated for dystrophic organ changes (83,6%); the other 17,2% were caused by fibroid induration. During the morphological liver analysis there were stated the dystrophic and necrotic changes in fractions with the profound disturbance of blood circulation. At the same there was noted the disturbance of the whole fraction stricture, acute capillary engorgement in the central and peripheral zones

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus there was realized clinical, biochemical, pathological-anatomical and histologic analysis of the efficiency of the national Tsinkovet (Zincovet) preparation doses in cases of experimental liver dystrophy caused by tetrachloromethane of white mice. For the modeling of toxic hepato-dystrophy there was applied tetrachloride carbon. Five tested and 2 controlled groups of scrub white mice were prepared. There were 23-29 mice in each group. Weight of mouse was 18 – 20 g. Conditions of feeding and keeping were the same in each group. 181 mice were used in the test. 5 ml/ kg of carbon tetrachloride was entered subdermal to tested group and the first controlled group mice once a day two days along. Tested dozes were estimated based on preparation toxicity. Maximum doze was 3 mg in 0,5 ml of distilled water for one mouse (1-st group - 3 mg, 2-nd group - 2, 75 mg, 4-th group - 2, 25 mg and 5-th group - 2 mg). Mice mortality was noticed during the experiment. Results of influence of different doses of the studied preparation on liver specific weight and variations of body mass were presented. Activity of amplifiers (succinate dehydrogenase (SDH), glutamate dehydrogenase (GLDH), aspartate aminotransferase (GOT), alanine-aminotransferase (GPT) in blood serum of mice after administration of tetrachloromethane and Tsinkovet preparation was analyzed. Drawings of liver acinus of hepatic steatosis were given. Research results proved that the analyzed zinc containing preparation substantially lowered the toxic action of tetrachloromethane and promoted the regeneration of liver cells

In the conditions of the Republic of Belarus after fasciolosis invasion of cattle for the biochemical diagnostics of liver pathologies there was composed a hepatospecific metabolic profile of blood serum of cattle into which there were included several enzymes (alanine aminotransferase; aspartate aminotransferase; gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase; alkaline phosphatase; and cholinesterase), content of total albumin, serum albumin, total cholesterin and total bilirubin, as well as colloid tests (thymol turbidity test and test for apoliproteins). There was revealed a intrahepatic cholestasis developed during fasciolosis infestation, as well as dysproteinemia as a compensatory mechanism of liver proteinsyntetic function.
