The main factor, and cost-effective rapid increase in yield of all crops and raising its quality is an innovative process for the creation and introduction of new varieties. Overall condition of use in the production of new varieties is very unsatisfactory. For this year the country loses more than 1.5 mln. tonnes of grains of winter cereals. Currently, the requirements for soft winter wheat, as a factor of sustainable productivity, increase. Despite the obvious advances in breeding wheat varieties as genetic yield potential of more than 10 t/ha, the actual implementation of it is around 50 %. Therefore remains an urgent problem of developing varieties with high potential and implementation of evidence-based their growth. Thus, the genetic yield potential genotype implemented with a balanced exposure of a number of factors. The purpose of research – create a soft winter wheat variety with well-defined ecological and adaptive properties and high quantitative and qualitative indicators of grain yield, varieties show ability to withstand adverse abiotic, biotic and anthropogenic factors of the environment for future breeding. Освещены экологические особенности сорта Ювивата 60 (с точки зрения генотипического эффекта и степенью пластичности) при различных условиях экотипов Украины. Для сельскохозяйственного производителя предоставлены рекомендации по формированию высокопродуктивных и адаптивных фитоценозов пшеницы мягкой озимой сорта Ювивата 60 и получения гарантированного высокого и качественного урожая зерна. | Викладено агроекологічну характеристику пшениці м’якої озимої сорту Ювівата 60 за господарсько-цінними показниками. This variety realizes its natural potential in a greater degree in case of growing after the best forecrop, at high soil fertility, with intensive agrotechnologies implementation and sowing at the end of the optimal time for appropriate agroclimatic zones. | Приведены результаты исследований морфоагробиологических признаков и свойств нового сорта пшеницы мягкой озимой Нива Киевщины. Установлено, что он владеет високим генетическим потенциалом продуктивности, относится к  интенсивному типу универсального использования, имеет повышенную зимо- и засухоустойчивость. Природный потенциал в большей мере реализовывает при условии выращивания после лучших предшественников, на высоких агрофонах, с применением интенсивных агротехнологий и севом в  конце оптимальних его сроков для соответствующих агроклиматических зон. | Наведено результати вивчення морфоагробіологічних властивостей високопродуктивного сорту пшениці м’якої озимої Нива Київщини. Сорт характеризується ефективною й тривалішою функціональною активністю фотосинтетичного апарату, толерантністю до загущення. Період «колосіння–воскова стиглість» триває довше, що сприятливо позначається на формуванні й наливанні зерна. Важливою біологічною особливістю сорту є поєднання високих показників зимостійкості, регенераційної здатності та якості продовольчого зерна. Сорт відзначається підвищеною посухостійкістю, що дає йому перевагу в разі дефіциту вологи в ґрунті. Висока врожайність забезпечується значною продуктивною кущистістю, більшою кількістю зерен з рослини, кращим збереженням рослин протягом усього періоду після перезимівлі до збирання пшениці.

This article is dedicated to frost resistance studies of 27 hybrid forms of peach of Nikita Botanical Garden breeding and 3 control zoned varieties. The studies enabled to single out 3 hybrid forms of early maturity: Zlatogor х Uspar-1 80-367, Laureat х Zlatogor 73-3 and Zsi-yan-shuj mi-tao х Collins 13 st. III 1/3; 3 hybrid forms of medium maturity time:Veteran self-pollinated, Veteran х Redheaven 81-136 and Laureat хZlatogor 73-6; 1 hybrid form of late maturity: (Tovarisch х I 1 26-76 Nektadiana) 85-197, that displayed high frost resistance of flower buds. The marked out forms are worth considering as a source of increased frost resistance of flower buds to be used in breeding programs | Статья посвящена изучению морозостойкости 27 гибридных форм персика селекции НБС и три контрольных районированных сортов методом прямого промораживания с учетом их морфогенеза. Полученные результаты исследований позволяют рекомендовать производителям сорта пшеницы мягкой озимой Лира одеська, Тонация, Арктис, Этела как сорта максимально пригодные для интенсивных технологий выращивания в зоне Лесостепи Украины. | Висвітлено результати досліджень стабільності та пластичності сортів пшениці м’якої озимої в умовах Лісостепу України. Встановлено дію абіотичних і біотичних факторів середовища на генотип і обґрунтовано ступінь їхнього впливу на ріст, розвиток, врожайність і якість врожаю пшениці м’якої озимої. Отримані результати досліджень дають змогу рекомендувати виробникам сорти Ліра одеська, Тонація, Арктіс, Етела як такі, що максимально придатні для інтенсивних технологій вирощування в зоні Лісостепу України.

Results obtained during the study of special features of cultivation and productivity of soft winter wheat varieties that differ by origin in the Steppe zone in Ukraine are presented. Relevance of the executed work was determined by ambiguous assessment and selection of available soft winter wheat variety assortment that is used in Steppe zone farms. Findings allow to find out  and expose to a greater extent unused reserves for increasing the croppage level. It was found in the process of the study that now according to comprehensive assessment the best varieties of a soft winter wheat for corn growers in the steppe zone are Smuhlianka, Epokha odes`ka, Kiriia, Zolotokolosa, Blahodarka odes`ka, Bohdana, Lyst 25, Rozkishna. | Приведены результаты исследований особенностей выращивания и продуктивности разных по происхождению сортов пшеницы озимой в зоне Степи Украины. Актуальность про ведённой работы обусловлена неоднозначностью оценки и выбора имеющегося сортового состава пшеницы озимой, который используют в хозяйствах зоны Степи. Полученные результаты дают возможность обнаружить и раскрыть в большей мере неиспользованные резервы повышения уровня валовых сборов зерновой  продукции. В результате проведённых исследо ваний установлено, что для зернопроизводителей степной зоны на сегодняший день самыми подходящими сортами пшеницы мягкой озимой  по комплексной оценке являются Смуглянка,  Эпоха одесская, Кирия, Золотоколосая, Благо дарка одесская, Богдана, Лист 25, Роскошная. | Наведено результати досліджень особливостей вирощування та продуктивності різних за походженням сортів пшениці озимої в зоні Степу України. Samples for ecological variety testing were determined which have both high and average stability and plasticity, high average yield and are promising for qualified examination. The environments are analyzed for differentiating ability. Environments were selected which allow to identify genotypes for yield potential and adaptive ability. It is established that the parameters of adaptive ability and stability of winter wheat samples obtained during cultivation both in various geographical locations and at one point during some years were closely correlated. This confirms the hypothesis that the genotype estimate for adaptive ability in one location is reliable. The connection level was average only for the variance of genotype–environment interaction. However, this parameter is not principal therefore this connection level does not restrict significantly the use of the method in general. | Проведено исследование на адаптивность 122 селекционных линий пшеницы мягкой озимой в трёх пунктах на протяжении трёх лет. Определены образцы экологического сортоиспытания, которые имели как высокую, так и среднюю стабильность и пластичность, а также высокую среднюю урожайность и являются перспективными для проведения квалификационной экспертизы. Проанализированы среды по дифференцирующей способности. Выделены среды, которые позволяют идентифицировать генотипы по потенциалу урожайности и адаптивности. Установлено, что параметры адаптивной способности и стабильности образцов пшеницы мягкой озимой, полученные при выращивании как в разных географических точках, так и в одной точке на протяжении нескольких лет, тесно коррелировали, что подтверждает гипотезу о достоверности оценки генотипов по адаптивности в одной локации. Уровень связи был средним только по вариансе взаимодействия генотип–среда. Однако этот показатель не является определяющим, поэтому такой уровень связи существенно не ограничивает использование метода в целом. | Проведено дослідження на адаптивність 122 селекційних ліній пшениці м’якої озимої у трьох точках протягом трьох років. Визначено зразки екологічного сортовипробування, які мали як високу, так і середню стабільність і пластичність та високу середню урожайність і є перспективними для проведення кваліфікаційної експертизи. Проаналізовано середовища досліджень за диференціюючою здатністю. Виділено середовища, які дають можливість ідентифікувати генотипи за потенціалом урожайності та адаптивністю. Встановлено, що параметри адаптивної здатності й стабільності зразків пшениці м’якої озимої, отримані під час вирощуванні як у різних географічних точках, так і в одній точці протягом кількох років, тісно корелювали, що підтверджує гіпотезу про достовірність оцінки генотипів за адаптивністю в одній локації. Рівень зв’язку був середнім лише за варіансою взаємодії генотип–середовище. Проте цей показник не є визначальним, тому такий рівень зв’язку істотно не обмежує використання методу в цілому.

In 2011 to 2013 a study was completed for the impact of varying rates of fertilizing onto the indices of productivity for barley agrophytocenosis of Helios and Commandor, in particular, such its components as a number of productive stems, number of seeds per ear, potential biological activity of ear and photosynthetic apparatus. It is found that the level of spring barley agrophytocenosis productivity is subject both to varietal peculiarities and the rate of mineral fertilizer application. When applying N 60P 60K 60 і N 90P 90K 90 the highest potential and biological productivity of Helios and Commandor was recorder as compared against the control. Impact of varying application rates for fertilizers onto the components of ear biological productivity has been scrutinized. The qualitative composition of ear is a clear expression of variety phenotype and identifies the level of biological yield for spring barley. Application of N 60 P 60 K 60 і N 90 P 90 K 90 mineral fertilizers fairly increased the average leaf surface, photosynthetic lead capacity of varieties in 2 to 2.5 times, as well as FAR efficiency coefficient in 1.5 to 2.0 times as against control that thus contributed to the development of highest biological yield of Helios variety phytomass at the level of 14.9 to 15.0, grain – 7.8 to 8.0 ton per ha and, respectively, 12.7 and 7.5 tons per ha for Comandor variety. | На протяжении 2011–2013 гг. исследовано влияние разных норм минеральных удобрений на показатели продуктивности агрофитоценоза сортов Гелиос и Командов, в том числе таких составляющих, как количество продуктивных стеблей, количество зерен в колосе, потенциальная и биологическая продуктивность колоса и мощность фотосинтетического апарата. Определено, что уровень продуктивности агрофитоценоза растений ячменя ярого обуславливается как сортовими особенностями, так и нормой минеральных удобрений. Погодные условия в определенной мере также влияли на ее уровень. При внесении N 60P60K 60 и N90P 90K 90 зафиксировано наивысшую потенциальную и биологическую продуктивности сортов Гелиос и Командов по сравнению с контролем. Исследовано влияние разных норм минеральных удобрений на элементы биологической продуктивности колоса. Качественный состав колоса является четким проявленим фенотипа сорта и определяет уровень биологической урожайности исследованых сортов ячменя ярого. Применение минеральных удобрений N 60P 60K 60 и N 90P 90K 90 увеличило среднюю площадь листьев, фотосинтетический листковой потенциал сортов в 2,0–2,5 раза и КПД ФАР в 1,5–2,0 раза по сравнению с контролем участка, что способствовало формированию наивысшей биологической урожайности фитомассы на уровне 14,9–15,0 и зерна 7,8–8,0 т/га у сорта Гелиос и соответственно 12,7 и 7,5 т/га у сорта Командор. | Впродовж 2011–2013 рр. досліджено вплив різних норм мінеральних добрив на показники продуктивності агрофітоценозу ячменю звичайного ярого сортів Геліос і Командор, зокрема таких складових, як кількість продуктивних стебел, кількість зерен у колосі, потенційна і біологічна продуктивність колоса та потужність фотосинтетичного апарата. Встановлено, що рівень продуктивності агрофітоценозу ячменю звичайного ярого зумовлюється як сортовими особливостями, так і нормою мінеральних добрив. За внесення N60P60K60 і N90P90K90 зафіксовано найвищу потенційну та біологічну продуктивності сортів Геліос і Командор порівняно з контролем ділянки. Досліджено вплив різних норм мінеральних добрив на елементи біологічної продуктивності колоса. Якісний склад колоса є чітким виявленням фенотипу сорту та визначає рівень біологічної врожайності ячменю звичайного ярого. Застосування мінеральних добрив N 60P 60K 60 і N 90P 90K 90 достовірно збільшило середню листкову поверхню, фотосинтетичний листковий потенціал сортів у 2,0–2,5 раза та ККД ФАР в 1,5–2,0 раза порівняно з контролем, що сприяло формуванню найвищої біологічної врожайності фітомаси у сорту Геліос на рівні 14,9–15,0, зерна – 7,8–8,0 т/га і відповідно – 12,7 і 7,5 т/га у сорту Командор.

In 2011 to 2013 a study was completed for the impact of varying rates of fertilizing onto the indices of productivity for barley agrophytocenosis of Helios and Commandor, in particular, such its components as a number of productive stems, number of seeds per ear, potential biological activity of ear and photosynthetic apparatus. It is found that the level of spring barley agrophytocenosis productivity is subject both to varietal peculiarities and the rate of mineral fertilizer application. When applying N 60P 60K 60 і N 90P 90K 90 the highest potential and biological productivity of Helios and Commandor was recorder as compared against the control. Impact of varying application rates for fertilizers onto the components of ear biological productivity has been scrutinized. The qualitative composition of ear is a clear expression of variety phenotype and identifies the level of biological yield for spring barley. Application of N 60 P 60 K 60 і N 90 P 90 K 90 mineral fertilizers fairly increased the average leaf surface, photosynthetic lead capacity of varieties in 2 to 2.5 times, as well as FAR efficiency coefficient in 1.5 to 2.0 times as against control that thus contributed to the development of highest biological yield of Helios variety phytomass at the level of 14.9 to 15.0, grain – 7.8 to 8.0 ton per ha and, respectively, 12.7 and 7.5 tons per ha for Comandor variety.

There are allocated some forms of distant hybrids with weak degree of fungal diseases lesion (Taphrina deformans (Berk.) Tul., Sphaerotheca pannosa (Lev.) var. persicae Woron., Clasterosporium carpophilum Aderh., Monilia cinerea Bonord. и Monilia fructigena Fr.) that are of practical interest for breeding such cultivars of peach and nectarine that will resist these pathogens.

The author presents the study results concerning the infl uence of different systems of primary soil tillage on weed infestation on lands withdrawn from agriculture in Polissia of Ukraine. It is found that in case of returning such lands to use ploughing leads to depletion of weed seed stock in the layer of 0–10 cm by 36,1%. Surface and combined tillage systems help to reduce pollution of this soil layer with weed seeds by 25,4% and 31,7% respectively. When using surface tillage, a very shallow buriel of vegetative and generative organs of weeds that are close to the soil surface foster their early regrowth and accelerated development.
