The article presents the estimation of economic and biological characteristics of indeterminant tomato hyb­ rids (Raisa F1, Macarena F1, Emotion F1, Anabel F1, Mariachi F1) under conditions of winter hydroponic. The earliest emergence of fruits is established for Macarena F1 tomato hydrid. The total number of brushes, flo­ ers and w fruits formed on the plant during the vegetation period, is determined. The degree of fruit inception, yield per plant and average weight of the plant are measured. The monthly dynamics of hybrid tomato crops is presented. The largest harvest was collected through May to July. Marketable and non-marketable portions of the harvest and commercial quality of tomato fruits are determined. A close correlation between fruit weight and fruit yield is established. The Macarena F1 hybrid is distinguished as the most precocious and high-yielding variety. | Представлена оценка хозяйственно-биологических показателей гибридов помидора индетерминантного типа (Раиса F1, Макарена F1, Эмоушн F1, Анабель F1, Мариачи F1) в условиях зимних гидропонных теплиц. Отмечено наиболее раннее поступление плодов помидора гибрида Макарена F1. Установлено общее количество кистей, цветков и плодов, образовавшихся на растении в течение вегетационного периода. Определено степень завязывания плодов, продуктивность одного растения и среднюю массу плода. Представлена динамика поступления урожая гибридов помидора по месяцам. Самый высокий урожай получен при выращивании растений в мае–июле. Определено товарную и нетоварную части урожая, а также товарное качество плодов помидора. Между массой плода и урожайностью обнаружено тесную корреляцию. По исследуемым показателям выделен наиболее скороспелый и урожайный гибрид Макарена F1. | Представлено оцінку господарсько-біологічних показників гібридів помідора індетермінантного типу (Раїса F1, Макарена F1, Емоушн F1, Анабель F1, Маріачі F1) в умовах зимових гідропонних теплиць. Виявлено найраніше надходження плодів помідора їстівного гібрида Макарена F1. Установлено загальну кількість китиць, квіток і плодів, що утворювалися на рослині впродовж періоду вегетації. Визначено ступінь зав’язування плодів, продуктивність однієї рослини та середню масу плоду. Представлено динаміку надходження урожаю гібридів помідора їстівного за місяцями. Найвищий врожай отримано за вирощування рослин у травні–липні. Встановлено товарну та нетоварну частини врожаю, а також товарну якість плодів помідора їстівного. Між масою плоду та урожайністю встановлено тісну кореляцію. За досліджуваними показниками виділено найскоростигліший та урожайний гібрид Макарена F1

Lupin being a fodder crops is a valuable source of protein well-harmonized in terms of amino acids composition also plays important role for increasing soils ferti­ lity. Soil and climate conditions of Woodlands and Forest Steppe contribute to growing this crop. In 2013 the State Register of Plant Varieties Suitable for Dissemination in Ukraine was extended with two new varieties of Lupinus angustifolius L., Peremozhets and Grozninskiy 9 and 1 variety of white lupin, Chabanskiy. The article quotes the summary of morphological description identification for the above varieties on compliance with eligibility to protection criteria. Identification of the above varieties of lpin by way of describing morphological and biological characteristics enable to generate a code formula for the variety. Comprehensive assessment is give to VCU parameters. New varieties of lupin display high yield and quality, resistance to malicious diseases. The varieties are resistant to lodging, shedding, comprise no bitter content (alkaloids) in their seeds, as well as express high levels of adaptivity to the conditions of Woodlands and Forest-Steppe. | Приведены результаты идентификационных морфологических характеристик растений новых сортов люпина узколистого Переможець и Грозинський 9, люпина белого Чабанський и оценка хозяйственных показателей. Сорта, занесенные в Государственный реестр сортов растений, пригодных к распространению в Украине в 2013 году. Новые сорта по результатам проведения квалифицированной (технической) экспертизы отвечают критериям новизны, отличимости, однородности и стабильности, характеризуются высоким уровнем продуктивности, адаптивны, устойчивы к неблагоприятным условиям внешней среды, основным заболеваниям и вредителям. | Люпин, як кормова культура є цінним джерелом білка збалансованого за амінокислотним складом. The objective of the research is to improve the techno­logy of growing high-quality seeds of millet broomcorn by means of the optimization of sowing terms and methods, aimed at increasing its productivity and improving seed qualities under conditions of unstable moistening of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Scientific literature review indicates the study of the influence of these technology elements on the formation of sowing qualities and crop capacity of millet seeds has been of schematic and occasional nature. The issue has not been studied in this region condition at all, that is why the research has considerable significance and novelty. Analysis, observations and calculations were done by means of conventional methods. Research results indicate that under conditions of unstable moistening of the southern part of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine the highest yield of Slobozhanske and Lana varieties was reached at sowing in drills – 39.2 and 41.0 metric centners per hectare, respectively. That was 2.4 and 3.9 metric centners per hectare increase against the wide-row sowing. In the years with optimal hydrothermal conditions maximum seed productivity of millet broomcorn at the level of 4.24 to 4.79 metric tons per hectare (Slobozhanske variety) and 4.53 to 5.28 metric tons per hectare (Lana variety) was observed at postponing the sowing terms to the third decade of May. If atypical for the region hydrothermal conditions (drought or excessive moistening) are forecasted du­ ring the vegetation period of millet, the highest productivity is provided by sowing in the second decade of May. Early sowing in the first decade of May causes decrease in yield at the level of 0.14 to 0.48 metric tons per hectare (Slobozhanske variety) and 0.14 to 0.48 metric tons per hectare (Lana variety); if the sowing is postponed to the first decade of June, the yield increases by 0.31 to 0.77 and 0.39 to 0.84 metric tons per hectare, respectively. Early spring and summer sowing using ordinary drill method contribute to the formation of the highest qua­ lity of seeds – the overall quality index was the highest at the level of 97,9 to 98,5% (Slobozhanske variety) and 98,3 to 100,0% (Lana variety). | Целью наших исследований является усовершенствование элементов технологии выращивания высококачественных семян разных сортов проса посевного путём оптимизации срока и способа сева, направленных на повышение урожайности и улучшение его семенных качеств в условиях неустойчивого увлажнения Правобережной Лесостепи Украины. Обобщение источников научной литературы свидетельствует, что изучение данных элементов технологии на формирование посевных качеств и урожайных свойств семян проса носит схематический и единичный характер, в условиях региона исследований вовсе не изучалось, поэтому имеет значительную актуальность и новизну. Учёты, анализы и наблюдения проводили согласно общепринятых методик. Результаты исследований свидетельствуют, что при выращивании семян проса посевного в условиях неустойчивого увлажнения южной части Правобережной Лесостепи Украины формированию наибольшего урожая сортов Слобожанское и Лана способствует обычный строчный сев – соответственно 3,92 и 4,10 т/га или на 0,24 и 0,39 т/га больше по сравнению с широкорядным способом. В годы с оптимальными гидротермическими условиями максимальную семенную продуктивность проса посевного на уровне 4,24–4,79 т/га (сорт Слобожанское) и 4,53–5,28 т/га (сорт Лана) обеспечило перенесение сроков его посева на третью декаду мая. При прогнозе нетипичных (засуха или избыточное увлажнение) для региона гидротермических условий на протяжении вегетационного периода проса наибольшую производительность его семеноводческих посевов обеспечивает сев во второй декаде мая. Сев в первой декаде мая вызывает недобор урожая на уровне 0,14–0,41 т/га (сорт Слобожанское) и 0,14–0,48 т/га (сорт Лана), а при её переносе на первую декаду июня он повышается до 0,31–0,77 и 0,39– 0,84 т/га. Формированию наивысшего качества семенного материала способствуют ранний весенний и летний сев обычным строчным способом – соответственно обобщённый показатель качества был наивысшим и на уровне 97,9–98,5% (сорт Слобожанское) и 98,3 – 100,0% (сорт Лана). | За вирощування насіння проса посівного в умовах нестійкого зволоження південної частини Правобережного Лісостепу України за звичайного рядкового способу сівби отримано найбільший врожай сортів Слобожанське та Лана – 3,92 та 4,10 т/га відповідно або на 0,24 и 0,39 т/га більше порівняно з широкорядковим способом. За роки з оптимальними гідротермічними умовами максимальну насіннєву продуктивність проса посівного на рівні 4,24–4,79 т/га (сорт Слобожанське) і 4,53–5,28 т/га (сорт Лана) отримано при сівбі у третій декаді травня. За прогнозу нетипових (засуха або перезволоження) для регіону гідротермічних умов протягом вегетаційного періоду проса найбільшу продуктивність його насіннєвих посівів забезпечує сівба у другій декаді травня. Сівба в першій декаді травня призводить до недобору врожаю 0,14–0,41 т/га (сорт Слобожанское) і 0,14–0,48 т/га (сорт Лана), а за сівби у першу декаду червня він підвищується до 0,31–0,77 і 0,39–0,84 т/га відповідно. Формуванню найвищої якості насіннєвого матеріалу сприяє рання весняна та літня сівба звичайним рядковим способом – відповідно узагальнений показник якості був найвищим у сорту Слобожанське (97,9–98,5%) і сорту Лана ( 98,3–100,0%).

The article provides progress report on the barley of F3к-10029/Saratovske 4 height decreasing throughout 1974 to 2012 by way of selecting plants of the shortest stem. 38 years of selecting the shortest stem genotypes cut down plant height by 5,7 times at the background of dominant Hl gene expression. Average plant height during 38 breeding cycles was descending by 2,69 cm, but this was not an even trend. New creative donor for ultimate short stem characteristic, Gnome 3, has been developed, with Hl-3Hl-3alleles designation. Relative impact on the efficacy of minus-selection by the plant height of the selection differential (38,00%) and inheritance coefficient in its narrow sense (14,56%) is established. Efficiency of the selection is realized with the decrease of winter rye height plants by 72,08% as expected by the relative breeding forecast. Analyzes is completed for 11 genetic and statistical clusters of average utilitarian characteristics of Gnome 3 ultra short stem rye over the period from 1974 to 2012. | Приведена динамика генетического уменьшения высоты ржи F3к-10028/Саратовская 4 с 1974 по 2012 гг. отбо­ ом наиболее короткостебельных растений. За 38 лет отбора наиболее короткостебельных генотипов высота растений уменьшилась с 119,33 см до 21 см. Отбором в минус направлении уменьшено высоту растений в 5,7 раза на фоне проявления доминантного гена Hl. В среднем высота растений на протяжении 38 циклов отбора уменшалась на 2,69 см, но происходило это не равномерно. Создан новый креативный донор ультракороткостебельности озимой ржи Гном 3 с символикой генов Hl-3Hl-3. Определено относительное влияние на эффективность отбора при снижении высоты растений селекционного дифференциала (38,00%) и коэффициента наследуемости в узком смысле (14,56%). Реализованная эффективность отбора при снижении висоты растений озимой ржи в 72,08% случаев совпадала с рогнозированой эффективностью селекции. Проведен анализ генетико-статистических кластеров 11 средних утилитарных признаков ультракороткостебельной ржи Гном 3 за период с 1974 по 2012 гг. | Наведено динаміку генетичного зниження висоти жита F3к-10029 / Саратовське 4 протягом 1974–2012 рр. добором найкороткостебліших рослин. За 38 років добору найкороткостеб­ ліших генотипів висота рослин зменшилася з 119,33 см до 21 см. Спрямованим добором у мінус напрямку зменшено висоту рослин у 5,7 рази на фоні прояву домінантного гена Hl. У середньому висота рослин протягом 38 циклів добору зменшувалася на 2,69 см, але відбувалося це нерівномірно. Створено новий креативний донор ультракороткостеблості жита озимого Гном 3 з символікою алелів Hl-3Hl-3. Визначено відносний вплив на ефективність мінус добору за висотою рослин селекційного диференціалу (38,00%) і коефіцієнта успадковування в вузькому розумінні (14,56%). Реалізована ефективність добору за зниження висоти рослин жита озимого у 72,08% випадків відповідала прогнозованому ефекту селекції. Проведено аналіз генетико-статистичних кластерів 11 середніх утилітарних ознак ультракороткостеблого жита Гном 3 за 1974−2012 рр.

This shows the efficiency of repeated selection from F3 population and its impact onto the level of expersiioon of the characteristic being studied in the resulting F6 population. As a conclusion, a good time is set for practical breeding with the characteristic of «number of seeds in a seedpod» for  the selection, as well as for the methods for achieving its stable expression, that is to facilitate the decrease of durations and means for the tests conduct. | В статье приведены результаты изучения изменчивости одного из признаков продуктивности гороха овощного «количество семян в бобе» в гибридных популяциях и у отборов, проведенных из них. Статистическими методами анализа установлены уровни изменчивости признака в исходной популяции F2, влияние проведенного отбора у F2 на изменчивость гибридной популяции F3. Показана эффективность повторного отбора из популяции F3, его влияние на уровень проявления исследуемого признака в конечной популяции F6. Как следствие, для селекционной практики по признаку «количество семян в бобе» установлено лучшее время (поколение) проведения отбора и способ достижения его стабильного проявления, что будет способствовать сокращению продолжительности и средств в проведении исследований. | У статті наведено результати вивчення мінливості однієї з ознак продуктивності гороху овочевого «кількість насінин у бобі» у гібридних популяціях та у доборів, проведених із них. Статистичними методами аналізу встановлено рівні мінливості ознаки у вихідної популяції F2, вплив проведеного добору у F2 на мінливість гібридної популяції F3 . Висвітлена ефективність повторного добору із популяції F3 та його вплив на рівень прояву досліджуваної ознаки у кінцевій популяції F6 . Як наслідок, для селекційної практики за ознакою «кількість насінин у бобі» встановлено кращий час проведення доборів та спосіб досягнення її стабільного прояву, що буде сприяти скороченню тривалості та засобів у проведенні досліджень

The trend for development and spreading of diseases and pests of blackcurrant at Orel region in the conditions of extreme drought in 2010 has been detected. Abnormal weather conditions of the summer and the lack of precipitation limited both growth of host plant and disease spreading. At the background of extreme conditions of 2010 the crop phenophases shifted to earlier dates. The awakening of wintering pathogen structures began in the classic dates of the spring, although in summer their biological cycle went off rapidly. Due to the lack of moisture the disease pathogens failed to fully realize their potential of development and spreading. A favorable aspect of the extreme conditions of vegetation period, the reducing of the protective measures against diseases, is to be admitted. Abnormal weather conditions accelerated the pathogen biological cycles and reduced the stock of wintering infection; meanwhile they provoked colonization of the plants by pests. In extremely high air temperature and lasting lack of precipitation the pests number was intensively increasing, exceeding the maliciousness threshold. Due to the above some additional insecticide and acaricide treatments of berry crops were applied. Thus, the vegetation period of 2010 was described as most favorable for the development and spreading of pests and less favorable for disease pathogens. | Установлена динамика развития и распространения болезней и вредителей смородины черной Орловского региона, в условиях экстремальной засухи 2010 года. Аномальные температурные показатели летнего периода вегетации в отсутствие осадков ограничили как прирост растения-хозяина, так и распространение заболевания. На фоне экстремальных погодных условий периода вегетации 2010 г. фенофазы культуры сдвинулись на более ранние сроки. Активизация зимующих структур указанных патогенов весной началась в классические сроки, однако в летний период их биологический цикл проходил скоротечно. В связи с недостатком влажности, возбудители болезней не смогли полностью реализовать свой потенциал развития и распространения. Следует отметить и положительную сторону экстремальных условий периода вегетации – в сокращении защитных мероприятий против болезней. Аномальные погодные условия ускорили прохождение биологических циклов патогенов и сократили запас зимующей инфекции, в то же время спровоцировали заселение культуры вредителями. Под влиянием аномально-высоких температур воздуха и длительного отсутствия осадков численность вредителей интенсивно увеличивалась, превышая уровень порога вредоносности. В связи с этим были применены дополнительные инсекто-акарицидные обработки ягодников. Таким образом, период вегетации 2010 г. характеризовался как наиболее благоприятный для развития и распространения вредителей, и менее – для возбудителей болезней. | Встановлено динаміку розвитку та розповсюдження хвороб і шкідників смородини чорної Орловського регіону в умовах екстремальної засухи 2010 р. Аномальні температурні показники літнього періоду вегетації за відсутності опадів обмежили як приріст рослини-господаря, так і розповсюдження захворювання. На фоні екстремальних погодних умов періоду вегетації 2010 р. фенофази культури змістилися до більш ранніх строків. Активізація зимуючих структур указаних патогенів розпочалась навесні в класичні строки, однак у літній період їхній біологічний цикл проходив швидкоплинно. У зв’язку з недостачею вологи, збудники хвороб не змогли повністю реалізувати свій потенціал розвитку та розповсюдження. Потрібно зазначити і позитивну сторону екстремальних умов періоду вегетації – скорочення захисних заходів проти хвороб. Аномальні погодні умови прискорили проходження біологічних циклів патогенів і скоротили запас зимуючої інфекції, в той же час спровокували заселення культури шкідниками. Під впливом аномально-високих температур повітря та тривалої відсутності опадів чисельність шкідників інтенсивно збільшувалась, перевищуючи рівень порогу шкодочинності. У зв’язку з цим додатково оброблено ягідники інсекто-акарицидними препаратами. Таким чином, період вегетації 2010 р. характеризувався як найcприятливіший для розвитку та розповсюдження шкідників і найменше – для збудників хвороб.

The trend for development and spreading of diseases and pests of blackcurrant at Orel region in the conditions of extreme drought in 2010 has been detected. Abnormal weather conditions of the summer and the lack of precipitation limited both growth of host plant and disease spreading. At the background of extreme conditions of 2010 the crop phenophases shifted to earlier dates. The awakening of wintering pathogen structures began in the classic dates of the spring, although in summer their biological cycle went off rapidly. Due to the lack of moisture the disease pathogens failed to fully realize their potential of development and spreading. A favorable aspect of the extreme conditions of vegetation period, the reducing of the protective measures against diseases, is to be admitted. Abnormal weather conditions accelerated the pathogen biological cycles and reduced the stock of wintering infection; meanwhile they provoked colonization of the plants by pests. In extremely high air temperature and lasting lack of precipitation the pests number was intensively increasing, exceeding the maliciousness threshold. Due to the above some additional insecticide and acaricide treatments of berry crops were applied. Thus, the vegetation period of 2010 was described as most favorable for the development and spreading of pests and less favorable for disease pathogens.

The article considers the results of studying breeding material of sugar beet (MS-lines and many-seeded pollinators) of Ivanivsk Variety Testing Station in the framework of Beta-Intercross Program. Betaintercross Breeding Program for Sugar Beet has been developed by, and is implemented in, the Institute for Bioenergy Crops, formerly known as Sugar Beets Institute (ISB). Ivansivsk Variety Testing Station has been fully engaged into implementation of the Program since 1996. Key task for the Program is to draw genetic potential of breeding materials of sugar beet of the Institute research entities, namely Bila Tserkva Breeding Research Station, Ivanivsk Breeding Research Station, Uladovo-Liulinets Breeding Research Station, Uman Breeding Research Station, Ialtushkivka Breeding Research Station, as well as domestic and foreign companies with the view of maximizing the effect of heterosis use with the view of producing highly productive hybrids of new generation. Over various years, apart from various experimental re-search entities of the Institute, such companies as KWS  (Germany), Novi Sad Institute (Serbia), Ramon (Russia),  Danisco Seed (Denmark), Belorus ZDS and others have taken part [in the above Program].  The article provides key principles for the Program implementation scheme and its method. The cooperation has enabled to produce a range of highly productive hybrids listed in the State Register capable of competing at today’s market of sugar beet seed.   Among these there are hybrids produced jointly with Ivanivsk Research Breeding Station, in particular: Romul   (2005), Prometei (2008), Ramses (2009), Risolt (2007),   Kvarta (2010), Zluka (2010), ITSB 0801 (2011), ITSB 0802   (2011), ITSB 0904 (2012), ITSB 0905 (2012). | Рассмотрены результаты изучения селекционного материала свеклы сахарной (МС-линий и многосемянных опылителей) Ивановской опыт­ селекционной станции в программе «Бетаинтеркросс». Селекционная программа по свекле сахарной «Бетаинтеркросс» розработана и выполняется в Институте биоэнергетических культур, в прошлом Институт сахарной свеклы, (ВНИСС). Ивановская опытно-селекционная станция принимает активное участие в выполнении этой программы з 1996 г. Основной задачей являетя мобилизация генетического потенциала селекционных материалов сахарной свеклы научноисследовательских организаций Института, а именно Белоцерковской опытносе­лек­ционной станции, Ивановской опытно-селек­цционной станции, Уладово-Люлинецкой опытной станции, Уманьской опытноселекционной станции, Ялтушковской опытно-селекционной станции, а также отечественных и зарубежних фирм з целью максимального использования эфекта гетерозиса для получения высокопродуктивных гибридов нового поколения. В статье изложены принципы организации выполнения этой программы и ее методика. Как результат этого сотрудничества, получен целый ряд высокопродуктивных гибридов, занесенных в Государственный Реестр, которые могут конкурировать на сегодняшнем рынке семян сахарной свеклы. The article provides methodological ground (method of morphological description) for identification of qualitative, quantitative and pseudo-qualitative characteristics of maize hybrids (Zea mays L) disclosing methodological facets of practical appliance for histogram and variation curve of morphological characteristics of the phenotype by uniformity test and unveiling the link between quantitative characteristics of the ear and economically valuable indices of plant productivity. Target of the research has covered physiological and biochemical processes of plant productivity development into relevant phenological growth and development stages followed by relevant observations and records of vegetative and generative organs of maize. The field examination results obtained are processed with mathematical and statistical methods with the view of searching for margins (min and max) of confidence intervals and in order to verify reliability of the research results with the view of follow-up construction of histogram and variation curve. | Методически обоснованно идентификацию (метод – морфологическое описание) качественных, количественных и псевдокачественных признаков гибридов кукурузы (Zea mays L). Раскрыто методические аспекты практического применения гистограммы и вариационной кривой морфологических признаков фенотипа по тесту на однородность. Показана связь количественных признаков кочана с хозяйственно-ценными показателями продуктивности растений. Объектом исследований были физиологические и биохимические процессы формирования продуктивности растений в соответствующие фенологические фазы роста и развития, которые сопровождались соответствующими наблюдениями и учету вегетативных и генеративных органов кукурузы. Полученные результаты полевых исследований математико-статистически обработаны с целью поиска предельных границ (min и max) доверительных интервалов и подтверждения достоверности результатов исследований для дальнейшего построения гистограммы и вариационной кривой. | Методично обґрунтовано ідентифікацію (метод – морфологічний опис) якісних, кількісних і псевдоякісних ознак гібридів кукурудзи (Zea mays L). Among 5 species the best by commodity yield and quality indexes are selected. The promising species could be recommended for use in horticulture and landscaping. Introduction onto the territory of Ukraine of new lesserknown species of Cucurbitaceous family, such as trichosanthes, luffa, lagenaria, anguria, momordica will enable to extend the use of vegetable crops in landscaping for the designing of alpine hills, ornamental beds, decorating verandas, arbours, balconies with planting, as a wonderful material for artistic visage, restaurant business and agro-tourism. To extend the diversity among the vegetables in openair espalier growing it is promising to run the cultivation of disease and pest resistant, displaying good indices of taste estimate and quality species, namely trichosanthes of 5,1 kg/sq.m. commercial yield, with fresh and canned fruits accumulating high content of a dry matter (6,5 to 10,1%) and sugars (4,1 to 8,5%) and characterized by taste estimate for the processed foodstuff of 8,5 points. | Показаны результаты и перспективы интродукции малоизвестных овощных культур семейства Тыквенные для расширения овощного разнообразия. Среди пяти видов выделены наилучшие по товарной урожайности и качественным показателям. Перспективные виды можно рекомендовать для овощеводства и использования в ландшафтном дизайне. Интродукция на территорию Украины новых малоизвестных видов семейства Тыквенные, таких как трихозант, люфа, лагенария, ангурия, момордика даст возможность расширить использование овощных культур в ландшафтном дизайне для оформления альпийских горок, декоративных грядок, обсаживания веранд, беседок, балконов как чудесный материал для артвизажа, ресторанного бизнеса и агротуризма. Для расширения овощного разнообразия в открытом грунте на шпалере перспективным является выращивание устойчивого против поражения болезнями и вредителями с высокими вкусовыми и качественными показателями малоизвестный вид – трихозант с товарной урожайностью 5,1 кг/м2, в свежих и консервированных плодах которого накапливается высокое содержание сухих веществ (6,5–10,1 %) и сахаров (4,1–8,5 %) с дегустационной оценкой перерабатывающей продукции 8,5 балла. | Показані результати і перспективи інтродукції малопоширених овочевих культур родини Гарбузові для розширення овочевого різноманіття. Серед п’яти видів виділені найкращі за товарною урожайністю та якісними показниками. Перспективні види можна рекомендувати для овочівництва та використання у ландшафтному дизайні. Інтродукування на територію України нових малопоширених видів родини Гарбузові, таких як трихозант, люфа, лагенарія, ангурія, момордіка дасть змогу розширити використання овочевих культур у ландшафтному дизайні для оформлення альпійських гірок, декоративних грядок, обсадження веранд, бесідок, балконів, як чудовий матеріал для артвізажу, ресторанного бізнесу та агротуризму.
