Results of systematization and morphological characteristics of two wheat species-bread (Triticum aestivum L.) and hard (Triticum durum Desf.) are given. Detail descriptions of 55 main varieties of bread wheat and 32 varieties of hard wheat arep- resented in table version. In practical application these result enable plant breeders, seed producers and variety testers to determine wheat varieties easily sinse it is method for morphological systematics of wheat.

В табличном варианте представлено детальное описание 55 основных разновидностей пшеницы мягкой и 32 разновидности твердой. В практическом применении эти результаты предоставляют возможность селекционерам,  семеноводам и сортоиспытателям быстро ориентироваться в определении разновидностей пшеницы, так как сегодня это одна из основных методик для еѐ морфологической систематики. | Приведені результати систематики і морфологічного опису двох основних видів пшениці м'якої (Triticum aestivum L.) і твердої (Triticum durum Desf.). У табличному варіанті предста влений детальний опис 55 основних різновидностей пшениці м'якої і 32 твердої. У практичному застосуванні ці результати надають можливість селекціонерам, насіннєзнавцям і сортовипробувачам швидко зорієнтуватися у визначенні різновидностей пшениці.

Показано методичні підходи використання біологічного потенціалу сортів салату головчастого для розширення його сортименту. Встановлено залежність формування граничної потенційно можливої врожайності сортів салату головчастого залежно від впливу чинників навколишнього середовища.

In the article the recommendations of UPOV concerning identifying of varieties of cutting lettuce in the characteristic of steadiness to the powdery mildew (Bremia lactucae Regel) using assessment of the reaction of each specific feature of the famous virulent Dm component or those, which have in their genic structure, at leaset Dm genes, that further the defining of famous and non famous, present or absent Dm genes at the moment of variety identification. The nomenclature system of Dm genes is considered to be international for the description of cutting lettuce varieties Dm genes components.

Систему номенклатуры Dm-генов принято как международную, для описания компонентов Dm-генов сортов салата посевного. | У статті подається тлумачення рекомендацій УПОВ щодо ідентифікації сортів салату посівного за ознакою стійкості проти несправжньої борошнистої роси (Bremia lactucae Regel) з використанням оцінки реакції кожної специфічної раси відомого вірулентного Dm-компонента (ів) або тих, що мають у своїй генетичній структурі, принаймні, Dm-гени, що сприяють визначенню відомих і невідомих, наявних і відсутніх Dm-генів на час ідентифікації сортів. Основним методом селекційної роботи був індивідуальний багаторазовий добір елітних колосів з існуючих місцевих сумішей та штучне схрещування відібраних ліній для поліпшення господарсько-цінних ознак і вивчення спадковості. У результаті п’ятирічної селекційної роботи (1912-1917 pp.) було створено три сорти пшениці озимої: Кооператорка (0194), Земка (0158) та Степнячка (0119). За створення сортів пшениці озимої Відділом селекції Одеського дослідного поля в 1918 р. Рада Народних Комісарів СССР виокремила його в самостійну Одеську сільськогосподарську селекційну станцію.

The author has investigated the acclimation processes of the apple cultivars Ascolda and Spartan on nine clonal rootstocks bred in Ukraine. The degree of different tissues frost-resistance has been terminated and the acclimation processes in one - year germinations estimated. The cul- tivar-rootstock combinations have been selected which are the most adapted to the hibernation conditions under the conditions of the Ukraine’s northern.

Визначено ступінь морозостійкості різних тканин та оцінено перебіг аклімації і деаклімації в однорічних приростах. Виділено сортопідщепні комбінації, найадаптованіші до умов перезимівлі у правобережній підзоні Західного Лісостепу України.

Possibility of combining high productivity and disease resistance in one genotype was confirmed as matter of principle.

По степени водоудерживающей способности и скорости  восстановления листьями тургора сорта нектарина разделены на засухоустойчивые и среднезасухоустойчивые. Для возделывания в засушливых условиях Крыма и селекции на засухоустойчивость интерес представляют сорта первой группы: Fayette, Red Gold, Le Grand, Nectalate и Юлдуз. | Наведені результати вивчення посухостійкості інтродукованих сортів нектаріну в умовах Південного берега Криму. За ступенем водоутримуючої здібності і швидкості відновлення листками тургору сорти нектаріну поділені на посухостійкі та середньопосухостійкі. Для вирощування в посушливих умовах Криму та селекції на посушливість цінність представляють сорти першої групи: Fayette, Red Gold, Le Grand, Nectalate і Юлдуз.
