Complex assessment of varietal resources of the lettuce by means of identification of morphological descriptions and determination of indices of suitability for dissemination in Ukraine is considered. Results of studying of biometric parametres of trees grades of an column apple-tree of the Ukrainian selection and feature of placing of fruit formations on a trunk are presented. It is proved that flowering column passes apple-trees in a zone of the Right bank of the Western Forest-steppe in the same terms, as at an apple-tree ordinary and is intensive, amicable, simultaneous. Grouping of grades on weight of fruits is presented. The characteristic organoleptic qualities of fruits is given. The grade with the best flavouring and commodity qualities is allocated.

Dynamics of technological and sowing indexes of grain of wheat winter-annual kinds of Natsionalna, Stolichna, Artemis in the course of long-term storage is studied. It is positioned that the best sowing indexes throughout all shelf-life the kind of Stolichna, and technological had a kind of Natsionalna. The optimum shelf-life of grain of investigated kinds has compounded six months.

The results of expeditional collections and first varietal study of local varieties of plum Izyum erik have been given in the article. The drought-resistance of 15 nectarine varieties and forms with a sign of male infertility is studied. The research identified genotypes with varying degrees of drought-resistance. The greatest degree of drought-resistance demonstrated the form 33-3-1, 512-86,41-15-2, and grade Kul'dzhinskiy 4x, Krymtsuht, Elbertaziya.
