1996
Covassi, M. (Istituto Sperimentale per la Zoologia Agraria, Florence (Italy))
The fixed criteria and the results of a research project carried out for several years and supported by a grant of the MiRAAF are briefly reported. The project was aimed at either selecting or improving the proper measures for preventing or controlling the insect pest outbreaks as well as the diseases of the forest trees in Italy. The importance is emphasized of additional investigations on both the basic ecological and biological processes as well as on the previsional and monitoring models for the risk assessment of the insect pests and diseases. The mentioned researches are applied to an integrated forest management aimed at a full regulating of the forest ecosystems | [Sono riportati sinteticamente i criteri stabiliti e i risultati di un progetto di ricerca condotto per diversi anni con il sostegno finanziario del MiRAAF.
