This study determines whether or not the post-training performance of barangay scholars is associated at least in part, with certain personal, social economic characteristics of the trainees. The items included in the socio-economic characteristics are sex, marital status, occupation, age, education, number of children, land area farmed, monthly family expenditures, household object owned, number of cattle owned and number of organizational memberships. An overall assessment of the performance of barangay scholars in the different field of specialization such as plant and animal production, health and nutrition, literacy, choral, rondalla and drama and women leadership is discussed.
