The development project programme aims to teach and prepare farmers with new technology and techniques in rice and vegetables crops cultivation. After the trial period, the farmers are expected to work on their own. In order to assess how well the farmers are applying the new techniques and to find out the problems faced by them, a survey was conducted. The results of the survey are discussed
