1983
Lee, C.W. | Lee, E.W. (Seoul National Univ., Suwon (Korea R.). Coll. of Agriculture, Dept. of Agronomy)
This is a study on rice seedlings fertilized with ammonium sulfate which surpassed those with urea in growth performance and nutrients absorption of the rice seedlings in the nursery. such stimulating effect of ammonium sulfate on the growth and nutrients yuptake was more remarkable under the upland nursery than under the lowland one. The N content also showed a similar tendency to the sulfur content, and the N/S ratio was higher at early growth stage than at later one. The N/S ratio was negatively correlated with the chlorophyll content.
