Increases in flooding periods from 0 to six weeks resulted in progressive decreases in the DTPA-TEA extractable Cu and Zn in all of the five soils. The more pronounced decreases in the extractable Cu and Zn were noted in Alligator clay and Falaya silt loam. However, the 0.1 NHCl extractable Cu increased progressively in above two soils listed, but it decreased in the other three soils. Flooding the soils increased the DTPA-TEA extractable Mn and Fe in all soils. The more pronounced increases were observed in Alligator and Falaya soils
