A study on the growth and physiology of mustard in relation to boron supply
1983
Dutta, R.K. | Uddin, M.
Rates of soil application of B did not show any significant effect on the growth, biochemical and agronomic characters. There was an increase in leaf area ratio (LAR), leaf area index (LAI), crop growth rate (CGR), number of branches/plant, number of pods/plant, weight of seeds/pod and a decrease in chlorophyll content and net assimilation rate (NAR). The relative growth rate (RGR), total dry matter, seed yield and some other growth attributes were unaffected. The results indicated that boron was not limiting in the metabolic system of mustard plants grown in INA farm soil
