This work deals with information on the history of origin of pine-spruce and spruce-pine mixed stands in the Puszcza Romincka (Romincka Primeval Forest). The data have been obtained with the method of analysing the age of pine and spruce trees of which those stands are composed. With the spruce appearance of regeneration cycles, the duration of which - measured with the magnitude of the standard devation - amounted to 15 years, was stated
