Effect of meadow fertilization with increasing doses of nitrogen with the constant and differentiated relation of N:K
1984

The experiment was carried out on the rye-grass meadow. Application of N:K20 relation which was 1:1.3 on the average prevented a decrease in the potassium content in the soil and hay in spite of increasing fertilization with N. In relation to the crop fertilization with KPN 160 and KPN 240 appeared to be of medium optimum and the relation of N:K20 was 1:1 and 1:0.66 respectively. Application of the highest nitrogen dose in relation to potassium 1:1.3 favoured the growth of orchard grass but its decrease to 1:0.66 favoured the growth of coach grass
