It was found that a considerable increase of Ca intake from 75 to more than 200 g per day and cow did not cause marked changes in the content of Ca, P, and Mg in the blood serum. In the milk Ca and P contents were increased with simultaneous slight changes of Mg content. The content of nitrates, renneting time, casein number and thermal stability was increased, and the content of urea and whey proteins number was reduced due to increased Ca intake by cows fed forage of grass from pastures intensively fertilized with nitrogen
