Yielding and content of mineral components in the orchard grass fertilized with liquid manure

Investigation was conducted to show differences in the yield and content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, sodium and magnesium in the orchard grass growing on the light soil in relation to slurry manuring (110 cu.m/ha/year) and cutting frequency. Obtained results show that the orchard grass had accumulated the greatest amount of total nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus in the 1st cut. In the following cuts the content of the above elements was below standards of good fodder
