Two strains of triticale (MT-29515 and B-2061) at three N levels (0, 50, 100, 150 kg N/ha) were compared. There were determined the contents of nitrogen and 15 aminoacids. The increasing N doses from 0 to 150 kg N/ha caused an increase of total nitrogen in triticale strains but it did not significantly influence on the lysine and other amino acid contents. Low doses of nitrogen reduced the AAA index and higher dose of nitrogen (150 kg N/ha) increased this index. The B-2061 strain had the higher biological value in comparison to MT-29515 strain irrespective of nitrogen fertilization level
