Normal distribution of trees according to the diameter degrees and the age classes in eco-silvicultural types II-G-20 and II-G-21

In the region of north SR Croatia (Yugoslavia), in the ecological forest enterprises of the type II-G-20 and II-G-21 were made investigations of the structure in natural oak (Quercus robur) forest stands. The ecological forest enterprise of the type II-G-20 is a Quercus robur forest with woodwaxen, subass. with sedge (Genisto elatae - Quercetum roboris subass. caricetosum remotae Horv. 1938). The type II -G-21 is a Quercus robur forest with big woodwaxen and Acer tataricum (Genisto elatae - Quercetum roboris subass. acceretosum tatarici, Raus 1971).There were made tables for theoretical frequency of number of Quercus robur trees per level of thickness, tables for age classes (5 year) from 20 - 120 years. This was a theoretical model which could be aspired in nature. The tables made by Cestan (1973) were enlarged and improved.
