Technological properties of the fruit in some blueberry cultivars

Technological properties of blueberry fruit investigation was done at 8 cultivars. The experiment was conducted in the vicinity of Bijelo Polje (Yugoslavia). The quantity of dry matter in the investigated fruits ranged from 15.15-17.96%. For this feature were found important and very important differences between cultivars, and also between the years of investigation. The quantity of total acids in fruit ranged from 1.31 to 2.88%. The differences between cultivars were very significant between localities too. The percentage of total sugars ranged from 6.92 to 13.75%. There were no important differences between the cultivars, but between years there were differences. The percentage of reduced sugars ranged from 6.29 to 11.18%. Between cultivars there were no differences, but per years of growing there were found significant differences. The percentage of saccharose was 0.62-3.58%. There were no differences between cultivars, but there were differences per years of investigation. The amount of fructose ranged from 3.54-6.54 %, and between cultivars there were no differences. The amount of glucose ranged from 2.49 to 5.04%. Between cultivars there were no differences, but per years of growing the differences were very significant. The amount of vitamin C ranged from 18.59 to 37,03 mg %. Between cultivars there were no significant differences, but per years the differences were present. pH in fruit juice was 4,36-4,97. Between cultivars the differences were very significant, but per years there were no differences.
