Haematological parameters in 100 chicken infected with Eimeria tenella were studied. A significant reduction in RBC count from (1.1 to 0.7 x 106/cu.mm), Haemoglobin from 3 to 1.2 gm and PCV from 8 to 2% from day 4th to 13th day P.I. were recorded. There was a significant increase in WBC count from 20.8 to 23 x 106/cu.mm from 4th to 13th day P.I. The significant rise in the leucocytes from 4th to 13th day P.I. was mainly due to an increase in both lymphocytes and heterophils. An increase in blood clotting time from 5 to 147 seconds was observed from day 4th to 7th P.I. The above parameters had attained normal levels by 30th day P.I. suggesting that the recovery from the infection was complete
