Effect of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilization on growth and yield of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) (in Iraq)
1985
Al-Ani, A.A.I.
This experiment was carried out to study the effect of four levels of nitrogen (as ammoniumsulfate 21% N and phosphorus as calcium super phosphate 46% Phosphoric unhydride) on growth and yield of cucumber var. "Beta Alpha". Some of the results were as follows: 1-N. fertilizer level affected vegetative growth characteristics of plant. 2-N. and Phosphorus fertilizer and their interaction had no significant effect on dry weight of cucumber fruits in both seasons. It has been found from the results of this experiment done on Beta Alpha F1 hybrid cucumber Cv., that the 20 kg N and 40 kg Phosphoric unhydride/ donum were the best levels
