Survey on the utilization of power tiller in Korea, 3; purchasing and using trends of used power tiller

This study was conducted to find out a basic data for purchasing and using trends of used power tiller. In first survey, 2,990 of farm household owned power tiller from fifty-six counties in eight provinces of Korea were investigated. In second survey, 311 farmers who purchased the used power tiller investigated in first survey and 104 farm machinery dealers were interviewed. As a result, purchasing rate of used power tiller was 10.4 %, and it has being increased year by year from 6.6 % in 1977 to 17.2 % in 1985. As a purchased place, 74.3 % of total used power tiller were trade in farmers each other. This shows the poor actual conditions of farm machinery dealers and service centers which are not prepared for improving the circulation system of used power tiller
