Effect of different concentrations of gibberellic acid on the growth of shaded and exposed mango seedlings [Philippines]
1984
Toledo, I.B.
The treatments showed marked effects on the rate of growth, height of seedlings, girth size, and leaf area of mango. Gibberellic acid at 1000 ppm promoted higher growth increment than any other treatment. Shaded seedlings had higher rate of growth and greater leaf area than exposed seedlings. However, bigger girth was obtained in exposed seedlings. Number of leaves was not affected by different concentrations of gibberellic acid and exposure to sunlight
