A significant effect of management system changes on all investigated blood parameters was stated. The adaptation process had not been finished after three weeks from beginning of grazing period. The similar trends in changes of investigated blood hematological and biochemical parameters of cows fed indoor or in pasture underline the main role of feeding system. The changes of glucose, lactic and propionic acid as well as those of potassium concentrations in blood of cows on pasture in spring indicate the lack of cow organism adaptation to increased physical effort
