Flis-Bujak, M. | Turski, R. | Baran, S. (Akademia Rolnicza, Lublin (Poland))
Addition of sewage sludge to a podzolic sandy soil led to a rise in soil carbon content which correlated with application rate. Fertilization with sludge also brought about a decrease in the amount of easily soluble fractions and a formation of stable organic compounds under conditions of changing soil pH. The results indicate the suitability of sewage sludge to fertilize poor quality soils and soil reclamation purposes
