Plant parasitic nematodes of rice
1970
Singh, N.D. (Ministry of Nat'l Dev. and Agric. (Guyana). Res. Div.)
A diagnostic survey was done to determine the occurrence of plant parasitic nematodes associated with rice. All root and soil samples were taken from areas known to have poor rice growth. Tylenchorhynchus spp. and Tylenchus spp. were the most prevalent in almost all soil samples from both locations (Mon Repos, West Coast Berbice). The rice root nematode, Hirschmanniella sp p. was found in soil samples at Mon Repos
