Influence of the method of interrow cultivation of potatoes on the number of soil clods in the ridge and on the picking belt of the harvester

Soil agglomeration level on potato fields cultivated by three different methods: mechanical, chemical and combined was tested. It was found that the least amount of weeds grew in chemically cultivated fields whereas the greatest amount of stones and soil clods occurred in mechanically cultivated fields. The greatest amount of clods was found in mechanically cultivated ridges
