The results of 650 tested milking cows, daugthers of 26 Black and White bulls were analysed. The average values of milk, fat, and protein yields were stated. The estimated heritability coefficients of milk yield and composition characteristics amounted to 0.363 - 0.802 and the genetic correlations - from 0.769 to 0.990. The phenotypic and genetic correlation coefficients suggest a significant relationship betwen milk yield characteristics in 305-day lactation and those data from the 30th, 90th and 100th control day
