This paper provides a description of natural and hydrologic conditions and a project of complex exploitation of natural resources of the karst region Mostarsko blato in the western Herzegovina (Yugoslavia). This paper includes the following: the present natural regime of floods in the karst fields, protection against waters, water protection against pollution, water exploitation for various purposes and a short survey of the integral project and its classification into independent groups of projects and subprojects as well as stages of the realization.
