[Honey locust in north-east Croatia [Yugoslavia]]

Honey locust is a plant species which provides the highest amount of honey in Yugoslavia. This investigation was carried out in north-east Croatia (Yugoslavia) i.e., Slovenija and Baranja which are considered the most suitable areas for the development of honey locust. Natural parameters of biotope (climate, geologic base and soil) were investigated and it was found out that they are suitable for honey locust. Biologic features and ecologic needs of honey locust as a species as well as ways of growing were presented.
