[The influence of the obtained canopy on the yield of maize under the non-irrigated and irrigated production conditions in 1987]

An experiment on marketable maize hybrid Bc 66-61 has been established in 1987 at irrigated 0.5 ha and non-irrigated 0.5 ha. The irrigation was applied when the canopy had already been formed, so that it did not affect the canopy formation. Despite the late application of irrigation, its positive effect on the seed production was obvious.
