Need of forestation have been discussed. The problem of reforestation have also been chalked out. Emphasis have been laid on the plantation of fruit trees over the firewood or timber trees. Present review foretells the techniques of tissue for successful regeneration of trees and the future possibilities of the subject in greater biotechnological application
