The way for agricultural development in rolling loess region in central part of Gansu Province from the view of comprehensive harnessing of Lumacha in Dingxi County

A number of suggestions and investigations have been made in this paper towards existing problems in agricultural development in rolling loess regions in central part of Gansu Province on the bases of comprehensive harnessing of Lumacha, Dingxi County. These suggestions, including adjusting structures of agriculture, properly dealing with energy sources, increasing input, comprehensively harnessing soil erosion and launching technical services, are valuable for widening agricultural production and developing commodity economy in similar areas.
