Alemán. Unreife Getreideembryonen koennen als Ausgangsmaterial fuer die Protoplastenisolation verwendet werden. Die Bedingungen fuer eine hohe Ausbeute an kleinen cytoplasmareichen Protoplasten wurden optimiert. Der Einsatz von Mannit und Sorbit duch KCl als Osmoticum waehrend der Enzymbehandlung erwies sich als essentieller Faktor. Die aus unreifen Embryonen isolierten Protoplasten zeigen eine aehnliche Morphologie wie Protoplasten von embryogenen Zellsuspensionen
