The present work was designed to study the optimum environmental conditions (PH value, temperature and incubation period) as well as the standard levels of vitamins, yeast extract and growth factor on lippase production dry weight of cells for both Rhizobium japonicum 6IA76 and 3IIb136. In case of Rhizobium japonicum 6IA76, results showed that the optimum PH value for lipase production was at 7.0, whereas Rhizobium japonicum 3IIb136 showed a highest lipase yield at PH (6.8 - 7.0). The optimum temperature for maximum lipase activity was found to be (25 C - 30 C) for both Rhizobium japonicum 6IA76 and 3IIb136.
