A study on increasing the precision of faba bean field experiments [Egypt]

Two faba bean uniformity trials conducted in 1985/86 and 1986/87 seasons at the Exp. Farm, Fac. of Agric., Mansoura Univ. Egypt to determine the optimum plot size and shape and suitable number of replications that raise the precision of faba bean yield experiments. Generally, the optimum plot size and shape of faba bean yield experiments was recomended as 2.4x3.5-4.8x3.5 m. i.e. 1/500-1/250 fed. and the suitable number of replications was ranged from 4-7 under the conditions of this investagation.
