A pot experiment was carried out in the greenhouse of the N.R.C., at Dokki, Cairo to study the effect of biofertilizer phosphate with and without application of increasing rates of either rockphosphate or superphosphate on growth and yield of soybean plants. Results indicated that both single and combined applications of mineral and/or biofertilizers (phosphate dissolving bacteria PDB) significantly increased plant production. It could be assessed by the height, the number of leaves, the total leaf area/plant, the leaf area index and the dry weight of the whole plant and its different parts at both vegetative stage and final yield at mature stage as well as oil yield.
