This study aims to allocate the optimum recources of Nili potatoes production as well as balancing the present production costs; and revenue levels with the comparable economic levels in order to help in planning and directing the agricultural policy regarding potatoes production. Series data during the years 1965-1981 was used and analized by multiple regression technique to estimate the parameters of the public functions. The results of the study yields the following conclusions: The value of the present variable cost of nili potatoes is more than the optimum cost and the present price per unit of output is greater than that of the optimum price. Therefore, pricing policy should concentrate on pricing the input to reach the efficiency of allocating the Nili potatoes resources in the A.R.E.
