Nutritive element content of grassland plants in response to increasing N fertilization
1989
Banszki, T. (Agrartudomanyi Egyetem, Debrecen (Hungary))
Dactylis glomerata and Festuca pratensis were studied for the nutritive element content of their 1-3 growths. Each growth was given N 150, 300 and 450 kg/ha fertilizer, separately each but on the same area each year. The rising N dressings were found to increase the specific quantity of nutritive elements excepting Mn. In the single growth both the absolute and relative nutritive element content of grasses and the rate of changes were found to differ by season. In response to rising N dressings the nutritive element ratios related to N changed and the share of elements in mineral composition was different alike.
