1988
Milagrosa, S.P. | Bonman, J.M. (Benguet State Univ., La Trinidad, Benguet (Philippines))
The occurrence of Sarocladium oryzae on non-discolored seeds of rice indicated that the organisms can be present on symptomless seed and is potentially important as seed-borne pathogen. The organism was growing inside rice hulls and on brown rice. S. oryzae survived in seeds for five months at 25-28 deg C, 20 deg C and 2 deg C. It decreased with longer time of storage and was replaced by storage fungi.
