The effectiveness of different fertilizer sources (complete, amophos and urea) and rates per bag basis, were studied on rice and corn under upland rainfed condition. The study revealed that crop yields (rice and corn) were increased when fertilizer was applied regardless of NPK sources. Increasing the number of bags of fertilizer (complete, amophos and urea) from 3-6 bags either from among the combination (amophos + urea and complete + urea) did not show a corresponding yield increase in both rice and corn. The application of one bag each of the different sources used (1 bag amophos + 1 bag complete + 1 bag urea) comparably yielded to control treatments for corn. UPL Ri-5 outyielded menorado at all levels of fertilizer. Fertilizer sources showed no significant differences in yield.
