The content of manganese, magnesium and zinc in roots, stems, leaves and cobs of corn growing on the unpolluted and polluted soil by tetraethyllead was investigated. Experiments were conducted in the vegetation tunnel in pots on the soil with four kinds of fertilizers. It was found that pollution of soil by tetraethyllead to increase of Mg, Mn, and Zn content in investigated parts of plants. The only exception was magnesium content in leaves, which was decreased in all variants of fertilization. Results presented here suggest that the effect of tetraethyllead on uptake and translocation of Mg, Mn, and Zn in plants are different than the same effect of mineral salts of lead on these processes
