Research on sheet erosion in intensive fruit tree plantations

Researches conducted in Bilcesti intensive fruit tree plantation during 1968-1985 emphasized the value of the annual erosion intensity (Ir) determined by rainfall. On the basis of the annual erosion by rainfall S I1 (Hi15) and of the mean annual soil losses some significant correlations for soil erosion estimation were established. The data obtained on runoff plots on sloping land with no erosion control and on sloping land with bench terraces allowed the determination of some parameters of the runoff and soil erosion values
