This is a study of the possibility of using phosphate as a sedimentary reagent for removing calcium from intermediate products of sugar production. It was established that calcium ions can be successfully removed from the sugar solution with the help of sodium salt of phosphoric acid Na2HPO4 and Na3PO4. The sedimentary effect and the filtration rate depend on the pH value of the sucrose solution, the type and quantity of the sedimentary reagent and the temperatures at which filtration of the formed sediment takes place.
