In the region of Virovitica, which includes the Drava river and 12 closed eco-systems: E-liman, pond Karadjordjevo liman Stara Drava, a few marshes and ex-fish-ponds (Yugoslavia), it has been established that there are 20 different fish species, 17 genera and 6 families. The Cyprinidae family is the dominant one, with its species, followed by the Percidae family, with three representatives. The other families: Esocidae, Garedidae, Ictaluridae and Centrarchidae are represented by one species each. The following ratios of the first-class species of fish, when compared to other classes, have been established: in the Drava river this is 1:17; E-liman 1:6.4 and fish-pond 3 1:4.1. In relation to other classes, the predatory species in the fifth class had the following ratios: 1:32 in the Drava river; 1:6 in E-liman; 1:2 in fish-pond 3. In the studied region, there was a reduction in some families
