This is a study of the effect that fertilizers have on the content of tannins and mineral matter in raspberry leaves. The variety Willamette was used. It was established that raspberry leaves of the studied variety contain astringent elements i.e., tannins which belong to a group of hydrolyzing (pirogallolic) tannins. Out of all the tested elements in the raspberry leaves, the quantity of nitrogen is the greatest (2.32-4.23%), followed by potassium (0.60-1.58%), while the quantity of phosphorus is the smallest (0.46-1.04%). During the cultivation of the studied raspberry variety, the dynamics on tannin fluctuation in the leaves was observed during the vegetation period and the optium moment for gathering this medicinal herb source has been established.
