The problem of the correlation of some quantitative features in oriental tobacco varieties has been studied in field conditions. Stalk height had the greatest effect on the number of leaves per stalk in the Jk 7-4/2 variety. In the Dzebel-1 variety, stalk height had the greatest effect on the leaf width. The effect of the leaf length on the leaf width was very strong in all varieties and their hybrids. Out of all the studied quantitative features, the highest degree of correlation was found for the leaf length and width. The highest degree of correlation of all quantitative features was observed in the Jk 7-4/2 variety.
