A study of the effect of the row distance and planting density of grape vines was carried out in a vineyard where these distances were 2.70 m, 3.00 m and 4.00 m. The Italian Riesling was the grape variety. The grape yield per vine increased as the production area of the vine increased. It was the highest in the variant 4.00 x 1.20 m, and the lowest in the variant 2.70 X 0.80 m. An increase in the distance between vines in a row had a greater effect on increasing the yield than between rows themselves. Grape yields were greater with smaller distances between rows. Must sugar and acid contents varied depending more on weather conditions than on the yield or planting density.
