Selection of tree species for afforestation in fluoride pollution region

An afforestation experiment has been taken out in a phosphorus fertilizer factory for 118 individuals of 65 trees species. The response of trees to fluoride pollution varies with tree species. Concentration of air pollutant and distance from pollution source, total F content shows that all trees have the ability of absorpting and accumulating fluoride, hence have purgative effect. According to their response to F pollution, the survival trees are divided into three groups: strong resistant, meso-resistant and weak resistant
