On some marine mammals likely to be found in the Ghanaian coastal waters

A general description, local and foreign names, illustrations, and types of marine mammals that surface or might surface on the coast and in coastal waters of Ghana are provided for identification so as to prevent indiscriminate capturing, and killing of such mammals. These include whales, dolphins and sharks. This would serve as an information source to the general public in an effort at nature preservation and protection of certain species in order to avoid possible imminent extinction
