It is advisable to increase the ratio of ruminants and grazing animal species in the interest of natural resource exploitation. Dairy farming, dairy sheep farming, intensive dual-purpose sheep farming, breeding heifer rearing and meat horse keeping are best on areas of intensive grass; deer breeding, beaf-cattle keeping and extensive sheep keeping on semi-intensive grass, while deer breeding is best on extensive grass. The production rates of lamb per ewe of pure blood /Merino, Suffolk, meat Merino, Booroola, Booroola F1/ and crossbred /meat Merino x Booroola F1, Suffold x Booroola F1/ populations, the development of living mass at weaning, the daily weight increase of cattle and horse for meat production based on grass, the slaughter parameters of different grazing animal species /living mass, slaughtered mass, percentage of slaughter/, the practice of deer domestication and the reasons for it, are all published here. The work also deals with the better use of biologic possibilities influencing the quality of the basic slaughter material in pig and poultry breeding.
